Hi everyone, I have recently bought a second hand 1998 Daewoo Nubira, it has two cooling fans behind the radiator. Just wanting to know if the fans should be turning as soon as the car is started or do they kick in when needed? Thanks.

I know how to soldier and i know its the horizontal or vertical IC but i don’t know how to locate it and what to do if its bad. i want to fix it myself, Seen suggestions about resoldiering the IC but what if its broken and not a soldier problem. Everything else works fine.

my piston rings are shot and i have been told you can remove the pistons by dropping out the crankshaft.not sure if this is possible so i thought id better ask before tackling the task.is this true and how?

sounds great when running but is continuosly in neutral. Gear shift is in park. I don’t think it is the transmission becaus never had a problem changing gears while driving. Happened overnight. Get a funny grinding sound now when I put it back into park. Undrivable so please help!
