BMW is still slowing teasing everyone with a small sliver of the new BMW 1-Series M Coupe. A few new renderings have been created since then. One interesting looking one comes from 1addicts forum member Alpine325ci. The new renderings comes as enthusiasts can’t wait to see the full 1-Series M Coupe in its new skin. [...]

While driving my 01 BMW 330ci, my Motorola Razor phone fell out of my pocket and ended up behind the seat. When I got to my destination, the cell phone was gone. I assume it had gone into one of the vents under the seat while I was driving. When I look into the vents, [...]

I am planning on buying the BMW for $6900, but the tail lights are broken. Is that a good price? It has 160,000 mileage. Should the price be lowered because of the broken tail lights?

I really like BMW’s and I wanna be a mechanic after I graduate from high school. I heard UTI has BMW-specific classes. How hard is it to become a mechanic? Like, how many years do you need of class and how long does it take to become fully familiar the parts of a car and [...]

We have it on good authority that there will be no 1 Series-based BMW M1 coupe, but a 135is. Or should we say had? One of the key objections M1 skeptics such as ourselves had raised is that none of the the prototypes have had a quad exhaust setup. Well, newly published spy photos on [...]

Note To Self: Don’t leave camouflaged prototypes parked with the engine running next to Central Park in Manhattan. Just a week after a failed car bomb attempt in Times Square, Manhattan is understandably still a bit jittery. An apparent error in judgement by Martin Birkmann, head of product planning for BMW North America, reportedly triggered [...]

I’m contemplating becoming a car salesman for BMW in Orange County, CA. If anyone knows the approximate range this demographic makes, it’d help me make my decision. I understand it’s a lot of hours, and it’s hard work. I’m moving from one sales industry to auto sales, so commissions is not unfamiliar to me.

I was dubious in a recent post of Jack Pitney’s assertion that BMW can build front-drive cars without hurting the brand because of its “Secret Sauce.” Pitney is the savvy, passionate vice president of marketing and strategy for BMW North America. Your comments were an interesting mix of pro and con. Since that post, I’ve [...]
